Organic Wedding Flowers With Personalized Rustic Touches

Are you going for a natural, organic feel for your wedding flowers and decor? If so, these gorgeous arrangements by Stylish Blooms will definitely inspire you!

I’m in love with the handmade wood table numbers placed on each reception table! And believe it or not, these were totally DIY, made by the happy couple! This is a lovely idea to up the rustic-chic factor at your wedding!

For the beautiful table centerpieces, clear vases were filled with split peas, blue and white hydrangeas, and classic ivory roses. Each centerpiece was arranged on a unique moss circle.

The traditional bridal bouquet was created using white ranunculus, ivory roses, green parrot tulips, and was hand tied with natural raffia. Coordinating boutonnières of two white ranunculus, tied with raffia, pulled the entire look together.

For the bridesmaids’ bouquets, ivory roses, light blue delph and monkey tails were combined with burlap accents.

How ridiculously gorgeous is this ceremony arch? One of my fave wedding planners, Jesi Haack in Newport Beach, CA, hand-made hundreds of paper flowers, pinwheels, and kites to form this spectacular arch for one couple’s wedding at Saddlerock Ranch. A floral-print fabric was used as a runner and additional whimsical pinwheels were used to line the ceremony aisle. This paper flowers were such a hit that Jesi has kindly put together a paper flower-making tutorial on her blog. Also, you can see more photos from this wedding here. What do you think? I was at a friend’s wedding in San Francisco last month and as the evening began to wind down, the couple’s DJ and a handful of bridesmaids urged guests to take the reception centerpieces home. Many were scooped up but inevitably, a few stragglers were left on tables and presumably thrown away. TableArt, a floral and event design studio located near Philadelphia, has created a centerpiece recycling program to remedy situations just like that. Couples who book TableArt for their wedding flowers can also opt to add their Green Heart service for a nominal fee (usually around $100 to cover the cost of delivery). The bride and groom select where their flowers are delivered once the wedding is over—maybe to an organization they support, a business they work with, a local hospital, or even to a friend who could use some cheering up. At the end of the wedding reception, the flowers are repurposed into new vessels and delivered to the specified location the following day. Brilliant idea, no?
